City apartment overlooking the forest

Project description

Simple yet sophisticated, thoroughly contemporary, and crafted with attention to every detail. The apartment, with a view of the forest, was designed to merge nature with modern aesthetics. Large windows play a crucial role in the space, bringing in natural light and greenery.

Intentionally, the interiors feature a French herringbone wooden floor, adding a touch of classic character. White, black, and shades of gray paired with wood bring a sense of calm to this space. Some of the furniture was custom-made to fit the apartment’s layout perfectly, enhancing both functionality and uniqueness. The iconic Danish Imola chair on a swivel base in the living room complements the window finish shade perfectly. The curry-colored seat in the hallway was carefully chosen as well, adding an appealing accent to the space.

The bedroom is a space based on the contrast between black and white. A light wallpaper and fluted surfaces emphasize the depth of the room, creating a relaxing resting area. Both the bathroom and kitchen follow a similar muted color palette. In the kitchen, the central element is a white island that harmonizes beautifully with dark cabinet fronts. In the bathroom, the black-and-white granite wall in the shower area draws attention, adding a hint of refined rawness to this minimalist room.

The whole is completed by subtle, intriguing details – also in soft colors – that emphasize the apartment’s coherence, creating an ambiance full of elegance.
