Contemporary interiors are characterized by large glazing, smooth surfaces and comfortable solutions. Our project – as the name suggests – couldn’t miss these elements! Together with the client, we decided to select timeless, calm colors: beige, gray and natural wood color. In each room, they are broken up by colorful accessories: a pink carpet, a purple armchair or a yellow coffee table. The combination of contemporary forms with timeless colors gives the effect of elegant modesty. The living area with a unique bookcase and a mobile ladder is illuminated by a window reaching to the gable roof. Thanks to the large glazing, we almost lose the boundary between inside and outside. The situation is similar in the bathroom, where a free-standing bathtub is located next to a large window. While taking a hot bath, we can observe the winter rural landscapes and relax almost in the bosom of nature! The kitchen and dining room are stylistically consistent spaces. Smooth gray surfaces of the kitchen furniture combined with a wooden island give the kitchen a slightly ascetic character and, through their simplicity, introduce a sense of overall order. Only carefully selected hanging lamps and colorful stools try to disturb it. The private zone is dominated by white and beige with the addition of gray and accents in pink tones. These are spaces where every functional and visual detail has been taken care of. In both bedrooms, in addition to beds, there are places for work and relaxation, naturally integrated into the sleeping function of the rooms.
